We are a retail store who specializes in board game teach & play. Our gaming experts take time to find games you will actually enjoy playing; again and again. They figure out the rules for you. Stop on by. Sit at a table. Learn how to play. Open a box of fun.

Developing Skills - Board games are educational and help build skills. We offer a curated list of games for specific skill sets. We look forward to working with teachers, care providers, or any anyone who would like assistance in this area. Discounts available for educators.

Sharing the Love of Board Games with Others

Owners Chad, Dustin, and Michael have been playing board games together weekly, for almost a decade. They grew up during a time when family events meant playing boards games together. This developed a deep joy in playing and curated a passion for teaching others.

The idea of owning and operating a board game store seemed far fetched. After years of visiting other shops, going to trade shows, and talking with the community, we knew the Chippewa Valley would support our local business. We spent years scoping out buildings, putting together a budget, and looking for the right place. We have found our home near downtown Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin in a historic building with views of the river.
